Beach 4WD

Iluka is home to fantastic long sandy beaches, perfect for 4WD. For Iluka Beach, 4WD access is available from the carpark north of the breakwall. From here you can drive all the way up to Iluka Bluff. Shark Bay (turnoff on Iluka Road, before Iluka township) provides another long stretch of golden sand, perfect for securing your own private beach spot. Clarence Valley beach driving permits are required.

A 35 minute drive from Yamba will bring you to the other side of the mouth of the Clarence River and to the Iluka Rainforest walk. Wondering what makes this walk special?
